Recent Memories

In this busy World, Every human being come across many incidents out of which some will stay for a day and some stays permanently in his/her mind. Like wise, I would like to share two incidents that i experienced very recently which triggered my inner consciousness to view my life in a different way . From Last year, I am thinking of resigning my Job and having a plan to takeover my Dad's business in which he is outstanding for the last thirty years. I decided to incorporate some changes inorder to improve the perfomance, I started to work on a new Plan. Frankly speaking, I am not familiar with the terms B-plan, Target, Profit .. etc etc .. I don't even know, what will be the content of So-called B-plan ..During the course of time, In ETV, I came across the comments of Mr.Prashant Choskey of Mumbai Angels on a new Business . Basically, He analysed the business plan under three main factors namely, How defensive is our B-plan, Uniqueness, Nature of our Play ( Local / Global ) .. yes .. ofcourse these 3 factors plays an important role in determining how strong is our business.. For sure, These comments made me to rework my entire B-Plan .. Never mind , Thanks to Mr.Prashant for making me to think before i leap in to the Battle (Business) field .

Really i am at loss of words to describe the other incident!!! .. I can say this as one of the happiest time that i have experienced after my college days . After my college days, I have said Good-bye to Books.. I don't even look in to books as my friends prepare for CAT, TOFEL,GMAT, etc etc and They loved to read Novels too .. I used to give a weird look whenever i see them reading some books.. Very recently, I recieved a mail from my close friend with an attachment named "2 States - Story of my Marriage" from the author, Chetan Bhagat. Due to loads of Donkey work at office, To show myself busy, I just opened this attachment and read the Synopsis.. It's very simple, Just a Love story of a Punjabi guy and a Tamil Iyer Girl..From school days, I am very curious to know about other's Love Story so I started to read the book .. I didnt believe myself when i finished first 50 pages, it kept be engaged and it went quiet interesting.. I liked the way the author handled the flow of the story .. Like Movies, there was no heroism, no boring remake duet songs, ofcourse small fight was there but only between the Lovers.. :) .. The author had portrayed the reactions of the Family members filled with both emotions and humour.. Though i felt very hard to digest the lines "Tamil Iyer Girl liking Chicken Leg with Beer " , "Having S*X before marriage", the Book was excellent...I finished the entire book in a day ...

From the Book i came to know that it is very easy to do a Love marriage by going against the parents but it is very hard to do the same by convincing them ..I suggest that instead of wasting money and time in watching boring movies, we can read books like this ...
